Aims and Scope
The Journal of Iranian Blood Transfusion (JIBT) is a double-blind peer-reviewed quarterly scientific periodical dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the field of Transfusion Medicine and related disciplines. The Journal of Iranian Blood Transfusion (JIBT) is the official publication of the Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization Research Center and has been published since early 2004 in collaboration with the Iranian Blood Transfusion Scientific Association.
The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, reviews, case reports, and technical notes that contribute to the understanding, safety, and innovation of blood transfusion practices, blood banking, cellular therapies, and transfusion-related sciences. This peer-reviewed journal features articles aimed at clinical hematologists, hematopathologists, basic scientists and allied workers in the field of hematology and is dedicated to advancing patient care and basic and translational research in the field. This medical journal focuses on new and emerging treatments, diagnostic and prognostic technologies, cutting-edge science and advances in benign and malignant blood disorders.

- Support evidence-based practices in donor recruitment, blood safety, testing technologies, clinical transfusion practices, hemovigilance, immunohematology, and transfusion-related infectious diseases.
- Encourage interdisciplinary research bridging transfusion medicine with hematology, immunology, biotechnology, and public health.
By publishing original research and scholarly reviews in both Farsi (with English abstracts) and contributions from international authors, JIBT seeks to bridge regional expertise with the global transfusion medicine community, ensuring broad accessibility and academic impact.
